GENIUS t-shirts!

Geekier than thou!

Dragon and the Hawk!It was a really hard choice, but on January 6th, the Eve of MacWorld Expo, Nitrozac and Snaggy announced a "winner". The winner will be awarded some relatively inexpensive, but highly valued prizes, including one of our amazing t-shirts (one of the legendary Mac Genius shirts) and courtesy of Inferno Film Productions, a VHS copy of Dragon and the Hawk, and a Dragon and the Hawk t-shirt! Whoa!

But wait!... we are upping the ante! The winner will also receive the ultimate honor... a guest appearance in an upcoming Joy of Tech comic! That's right, Nitrozac create a custom portrait of the winner, and this cartoon version of he or she will join the ranks of famous geeks who have made appearances in our comics! Now that is an insanely great prize!

The Rules were:

  • Please, only send images you have made personally. Do not send us something you've just found on the Internet, as that is what is known amongst Internet hipsters as lame. And please, do not send us pictures of the innovative LCD E-Power PC designs of Future Power or Daewoo. Also, if you happened to be walking by the desk of Jonathan Ive, noticed a cool design, borrowed it, scanned it really quickly, then returned it before he noticed it was missing, please, we'd much prefer he just entered it himself.
  • There's a limit of three entries per person, except for Jonathan Ive, who can submit four if he'd like.
  • The decision of the judges is final. And the decision to make Nitrozac and Snaggy the judges is also final.
  • We can offer no guarantees that your ideas and concepts for the new iMac won't be stolen by ruthless iMac imitators, or Apple Computer, or Michael Dell, or sinister cartoonists.
  • Funny is good, so is real serious, so is looks-so-bad-it's-good.
Disclaimer: if, for reasons beyond understanding, there is no LCD iMac announced at the upcoming MacWorld Expo, please do not take out your intense rage and disappointment on us, for we will be curled up into little balls, crying our eyes out in the corner and don't really need the hassle of mob violence.

NOTE: The Apple logo or any other Apple-owned graphic symbol, logo, icon or image should probably not appear on your image or on any materials submitted, without express written permission from Apple. :)

Additional important note: This contest is an independent goofy contest and has not been authorized, sponsored, or otherwise approved by Apple Computer, Inc., or by Jonathan Ive.
